Enomaq 2023, four good reasons to choose SACMI

The SACMI Beverage range will play a starring role at the Zaragoza trade fair (14-17 February 2023) with versatile, high-performance solutions that meet all the needs of the wine, beer and edible oil sectors. Plus, of course, the advantage of excellent service in the form of new assistance packages provided in synergy with SACMI Iberica

Zero format changeover times, sustainability, economy and versatility to meet the needs of the specific product being packaged. All delivered, of course, together with service excellence in the form of high-added-value support packages and 24/7 assistance for machines and plants. These are just some of the qualities SACMI is set to showcase at Enomaq 2023, Spain’s biggest technology and equipment fair for the wine, beer and edible oil sectors.
Yes, not just wine, but also edible oils (Oleomaq) and beer (e-beer), with a broad array of technological proposals designed to respond to the most recent production and market trends. What’s more, the Spanish market can count on SACMI Iberica, which has 40 years’ experience and a 130-strong team providing customers with technical, sales and spare parts assistance.

Zero time wasting. When it comes to handling different production mixes and frequent format changeovers, flexibility is a must. Which brings us to the first reason to choose SACMI, as the Group’s Beverage Business Unit builds that flexibility into every single one of its labeling machines and Bag-In-Box filling-packaging solutions.
The SACMI labeling machine range spans from medium-speed units (FLEXI KUBE range) to high-speed ones (FLEXI OPERA). The platform design makes it extremely easy to introduce and manage differently sized bottles (from 60 to 110 mm in diameter) thanks to universal screw feeders and starwheels, an optical camera-controlled bottle orientation system and continuous self-correction of the label application process.
The result is a significant increase in machine availability, and, therefore, overall profitability. These solutions are modular and designed to meet the specific needs of the wine, food, beer & spirits sectors: frequent format changeovers and output rates of up to 72,000 bph.

Sustainability first. Responding to today's needs while working on those of the future is a SACMI hallmark. From labelers to BIB, our solutions help the wine industry optimize performance and transport. In addition to the increasingly appealing, rock-solid advantages of sustainability and lower logistics costs, SACMI offers a distinctive, market-beating solution that protects products from oxidation.
Some key figures: the product comes into contact with less than 2.5 ppm (parts per million) of oxygen, which means a guaranteed shelf life of 30 days or more. Ultra-high configurability and numerous options ensure SACMI BIB solutions can be adapted to the needs of the specific process and product, with high-precision filling and output rates of up to 2,850 bottles/hour.
And environment-friendliness? Compared to alternative systems, the solution delivers average savings of about 50% in terms of both weight and CO2 emissions, with more-than-proportional advantages along the entire supply chain.

All-in-one solutions, also for oil. The SACMI Blo2Fill range brings together the stretch-blower, filler and capper on a single, easy-to-install compact platform. On both the standard version and the XL version (for larger formats), the platform incorporates SACMI’s ten-plus years of experience in developing integrated solutions.
More specifically, the range extends the advantages of the dual cavity to the wine and edible oil sectors. This solution has proved to be a big market winner on account of higher productivity and efficiency when managing small-medium formats.
SACMI Blo2Fill combines high speeds with greater compactness, lower consumption, outstanding format changeover versatility and easy use and maintenance. This makes it ideal, to name just one application, for packaging edible oils in PET at up to 4,500 bottles per hour per mold (in a dual cavity mold), all while reducing consumption by 25% compared to the previous solution and ensuring flexibility across a 3 - 12 L size range.

Excellence in service. Close customer support from a well-organized, highly specialized team lets SACMI deliver outstanding services in synergy with the parent company and SACMI Iberica.
From expert assistance for getting new plants online quickly to spare parts support and in-the-field worker training, SACMI’s customer support packages make the most of advantageous digital technologies and operate in synergy with on-site services. This means prompt technical, sales and spare parts assistance can be combined with personalized monitoring and preventive maintenance plans that draw on on-site audits and in-Cloud machine data gathering.
And that's not all. To help customers develop new products, 2022 saw SACMI Beverage launch its new Packaging Center. This provides all-round consultancy, covering every aspect of preform-bottle, cap and label design. Solutions are validated by the SACMI Laboratory, a facility certified by major international brand owners that has already produced over 1,000 preform and cap designs for customers worldwide.

We look forward to seeing you at Enomaq (Feira de Zaragoza, Spain, 14-17 February 2023, stand 8, booth B-C/5-6).
